I had to put that through a translator to figure out what it is, but....I've only heard about it but haven't tried it. My Lithuanian friend wrote about it on her blog some years back. It was served at a Lithuanian Christmas Eve gathering that she attended. Sounds good to me!

pique's grandpa and I would have gotten along well. Big fan of borscht here, both hot and cold.

I don’t think I’ve ever had Borscht. I’ll have to watch for it.

Borscht is great, but you need to already like beets. If you're not a beet fan, then I'm not sure.

I'm not a beet fan, but I find I can tolerate borsht with sour cream (and ONLY that way).

Only cold, though.
