We also have new curtains for our bedroom and for a window in the dining room that gets light at the wrong time of day for half of the year.

The curtains are currently aging in the special plastic case that they come in for just that purpose.

I think we're supposed to wait at least two months....

I had two that were waiting to be hung. They’re only up now because handydude came to rebuild a bench in our backyard (waited all summer for lumber). He hung the prints, too. Turns out he used to work in a gallery, and the prints are now perfectly placed. I knew I’d screw it up if I did it myself. They’re big and heavy!

Grab bars for the bathroom: 6 months
Paint for Mrs pj's office: 1.5 years
Framed stamp blocks for my office: 2 years
New toilet seat (soft close AND quick release!): 2 months (done)
New computer: 4 months (done)
Rugs for the hallway: 1 month (done, had to find the right kind of tape)
Shelves for the bathroom: 3 years

I'm sure there's more I am not thinking of. And this doesn't include any of the outside projects... plants in pots that have sent roots into the ground that the pots are sitting on. Stuff like that.

I painted my offce/studio in March of 2014 (my blog remembers for me), and I have yet to paint above and below the windows in the corner. Should I wait for the 10 year anniversary?
