No kidding! I had the same thought about what Campbell might do to mess up a great product.

I buy the Rao's sauces that I can't get at Costco at a store called Fresh Thyme. By an odd coincidence, the Fresh Thyme store near my home announced last week that it is closing and that everything in the store would be marked down 30% starting yesterday. I was there bright and early and bought half a dozen jars of the Arabbiata and the Sausage and Mushroom flavors at a great price. And added a few bags of FT's frozen raviolis to the cart, too, to go with the sauce!

I’m afraid the best you can hope for is that they don’t change the recipes all at once. ☹️

I hope not all of the Fresh Thyme stores are closing. I really like shopping at the one we have here.

Whoa, we just discovered the Fresh Thyme stores as well!

It seems like as soon as we find something we like, it gets discontinued! :/

I think it's just the one store. They have a few in the Chicago area, though none of the others is close enough to bother driving to. Chicago is cutthroat when it comes to grocery stores, so they have a lot of competition.

I didn't realize 'til recently that FT is part of the Meijer group.

eta: I'm waiting for Lidl. Based on what I see of their current locations, it may be a while.

Watch their weekly advertisement. They regularly run fresh salmon for $5/lb.

I like Rao’s but don’t use it often enough to make it practical. I only make a half pound of pasta at a time, so the remainder in those big jars often goes moldy. I guess I could repackage and freeze.

Most of the time I do a simple olive oil and garlic sauce with parsley. Very easy for something from scratch.

There are a fair number of jarred pasta sauce from small local brands in my area. I bet some of those are equal to Rao’s.

I love Raos and like Fresh Thyme, although I’ve had some false advertising issues with a couple meat special. Their produce is excellent and the stores small enough to not be a timesuck. Fresh market is excellent too, if a bit more upscale.

Maybe Rao's won't get ruined. Ben & Jerry's didn't get ruined.
