I think that's it for Bernie.

Bernie would be a horrible president nominee. Hope he gains the wisdom to quit soon.

I wouldn't give up on him quite that fast. People can recover from stent procedures very quickly.

Like Dick Cheney.

The problem is that there were already questions about his age. Having a heart attack doesn't help.

I think a chunk of his people will be sufficiently spooked to look elsewhere.

Will they go Biden? Warren? Williamson?

Bernie came in with a hard ceiling. No way would he ever get the vote of someone who voted for Hillary. We didn’t support him because we didn’t think he could win.

And we still think he can’t win.

Cindy — confident that 2016 Bernie would have lost in a landslide

I think Bernie would've easily beat Trump. Give the people that were horrified to have a black man in office and equally horrified to have a Clinton (and a woman!!) in office the option for a white guy that wasn't Trump and I think the votes would've rolled in... Leaving

My read is a little different. Clinton, like Jeb and others, represented a version of the status quo. A lot of people want to tear stuff down and start over, Trump represented that, Bernie represented that.

If you think looting is bad wait until I tell you about civil forfeiture.

Warren represents that, but not to the extent of Trump and Bernie.

The medical problem Sanders experienced — though it can be serious if untreated — is a common affliction in men his age. And the procedure he underwent is one of the most routine performed by cardiologists.

“This is a common procedure. It’s very safe. People recover quickly,” said Steven Nissen, chair of cardiovascular medicine at Cleveland Clinic. “I’ve treated businessmen who go back to work the next day. I’ve had patients in the U.S. Senate who have gotten right back to work.

The progressives I know are only interested in Sanders or Warren. Everyone else is a corporate stooge as far as they are concerned.

I still like Buttigieg. Bullock is flailing about and I don't think he presents himself well. I am warming to Warren. I'm very impressed with how she is running her campaign.

I'd be happiest with a Warren/Buttigieg ticket at this point.

I would prefer Buttegieg/Warren, but I'd certainly vote for the ticket in the opposite order if T/P is the alternative.
