| Not sure if they talk while outside in the cold. Extreme cold should be very motivating for those in that environment to adapt their speech. Your face/lips feels frozen, you breathing changes because you try not to suck in too much cold air too quickly, often times you have to talk through thick, heavy, and muffling face coverings, etc. Lots of factors motivating you to talk differently. And you feel this is more acceptable because you know the people you talk to also experience the same challenges and will understand why you adapt your speech in certain ways. |
