Gills Rock is a town about 10 miles north of where our former Door County property is located. We were on the Lake Michgan side and quite a ways back from the lake, and the water was shallow.

Gills Rock is at the tip of the Door County peninsula, on the body of water that joins Lake Michigan and Green Bay. It's called Death's Door. There's a reason for that...
