Anybody stayed at the Plaza? Sounds like it could be a fun experience, except for some of the other hotel visitors....

I stayed there once for business, years and years ago.

Honestly, it's not the best location, unless all you want to do is walk through the park. The things that you want ... coffee, food, access to subways ... are all a decent walk away.

Agreed. Whether true or not, it always seems like they get off on making outlandish requests because they feel entitled to do so.

I love the Plaza's location, but then again I like walking around. Never stayed there though. Too expensive.

I understand Barack Obama likes to stay at Hampton Inn once in a while because they are clean, quiet, affordable, and put out a good breakfast. So do I for all the same reasons.
