Snow just starting in Portland. It’s 16 degrees out, going down to 12 tonight.

Further south, it’s snow and freezing rain already. Hoping we get NO freezing rain.

16 degrees in Portland is really cold for there! Cold up in Seattle, my mom’s house is not made for that kind of cold…

Sounds perfect!!

Over here, we have pretty cold temps and have had very strong winds (the winds should die down tomorrow).

I have the heat set at 69F (usually I set it at 68, not sure if one degree makes a difference...) and I have my humidifier running in the piano room, three clothes drying racks covered with wet towels, and every hour or so, I boil a pan of water and take it into the piano room and sit it on the floor (on top of a towel) to let the steam get into the room....

Wish I could close that space off, but it opens on one side into a family room, which flows into the kitchen, and on the other side, there's an open stairwell. So it's pretty much impossible to do any micro climate control.

My poor piano, I hope it's ok! The humidity is sitting around 35% (and that's with all the stuff I just described, without it, it would probably be 20% or less!)
