So do you have to have an extra subscription for the games? I’m now hooked on the spelling bee and the square word games,(thanks to you all Big Grin ) but can only play part of the puzzle each day. Steve has a subscription on his iPad (shared from his parents) to the news, but it doesn’t let me play any more on his device than mine.

I’m not sure how that works; I used to get that message about subscribing, too, for both Games and Cooking. But now I don’t, and I can play the games and get to recipes just fine. We have a NYT subscription, but no separate subscriptions for these things.

How are you getting to the games? Are you going to the bottom of the page in the news? I usually access from email in the morning on my iPhone; I get their morning news summary. But I can also get there in the app on my iPad.

Are you logged in, for sure?

I have the $1 a week NYT subscription, and when I go to games (which I never did until this thread!), it gives me two choices, Subscribe or Play.

Looks like the Games subscription gives unlimited access to games. Sounds like jodi doesn't have a Games subscrip and she's bumped up against whatever the limit is.

Steve has some sort of shared subscription, an add on to his parents subscription. Wonder if that’s why I can’t access the other stuff. (Because all the news articles show up, I just can’t unlock the extra game stuff on his iPad, but maybe I need to redo his login for that or something.
