I do not understand the hatred of this woman. She married into a pretty difficult scene tabloid wise, negative attention that would likely give most people a nervous breakdown. What she says (or what is told to her that she repeats) really has no effect on any of the rest of us, and I think people should just leave them alone (My British relatives have strongly negative opinions about her also).

No. It's not hatred. It's an analysis. It's an analysis of culture, of a thousand year old institution, and ultimately of history. They could well be left alone. This is not and never was their intention. | |||

I have to agree with Daniel. Being left alone is not their goal. No one who can read and lives in the civilized world could possibly marry Diana Spencer's son and not know what she was in for with the royal family.
