Casio at 1:16. Note: there is a similar variant-- the numerals are larger. I think this offsets the minimalism. And there are other variants of this dial.

I thought this was interesting enough.

There's another Casio I want- the basic digital. But I'm too cheap to spend the $12. Lol.

I enjoy seeing how much really great design work goes in to inexpensive products.

I got my watch.

That's the good news.

The bad news is I read the instructions and failed to make it do anything other than change the numbers and letters on the screen and beep at me.

So I put it aside and am going to watch YouTube videos to help me tomorrow.

It has no hacking and has to be set to the second.

Not that this ever stopped me in the past.

Duh! suave

Ok, this is a review of my watch.

https://youtu.be/B5Evs68RD1E

You can see it in the first 45 seconds.

It took me about 2 weeks to set it. I couldn't get it right so kept putting it away for later.

I finally got it to +/- about 4 seconds.

The beeping hourly alarm was a mystery (my error no doubt) but I must have done something to stop it.

I recommend this watch for its retro early '70's quartz revolution style and precision quality.

But I should mention my advice to try it on to see how it fits. Most watches today are large. The standard for a man's watch for example used to be 34 mm. Those days are long gone.

So, I completed my Casio collection. ThumbsUp
