His fellow cop (I think it was the guy who did the shoving - I'd have to go back and re-watch the video to be sure) pulled on his buddy's arm and hustled him along.

They both kept going.

That's the memory etched in my mind.

What CAN we do when one large faction of the country believe he's the Second Coming and their counterparts see him as the AntiChrist?

Finding the need to borrow from Christian archetypes to describe our untenable situation.

(Not saying their aren't many somewhere in the middle in supporting him or rejecting him, for more pragmatic reasons to do with their own special interests. That is, if - for one - if you can count saving the environment, among other things, as a "special interest.")

I thought it was the guy who did the shoving who wanted to help, and the other guy told him to keep walking.
