Mount Etna has erupted four times in the past six days, sending lava down its slopes and showering nearby villages with ash. Etna, on the Italian island of Sicily, is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. No significant damage or injuries have been reported during this recent outburst, and officials have said they do not think there is immediate danger of escalation, but the views have been spectacular.
Mt. Etna is one of the most monitored volcanoes on the planet, and it does erupt frequently. This generally means (knock on wood) that significant eruptions likely to reach towns and villages are less likely to happen (because the frequent eruptions reduce the total pressure build-up) and if a large eruption were on its way there would be notice for an evacuation. Whether people will actually evacuate is another thing....

Bob has been there and seen that. His mother's parents are from there. I think his grandfather was a Corleone, but he says no. A Corleone would say that wouldn't he?
