There are few people alive today who were in Auschwitz and most of them were children at the time. It is vitally important that we capture their stories.
I just saw an article that said a disturbing percentage of young people in France no nothing about the Holocaust. That certainly allows anti-Semitism to flourish.
This is a political stunt, at least in part. But it's a good stunt, and a good start.
