wtgWhere's the inflation?
Been hearing a lot about price increases for food. Have to admit, I'm not really seeing it at Costco, at least on things I buy....
(jodi, don't look at the first item.....)
Pumpkin pie? $5.99, same as last year. And the year before that. And the year before that. (OK, I'm willing to admit that one may be a loss leader for them.)
Boneless skinless chicken breast and ground turkey, prices unchanged at $2.89 a pound.
Charmin toilet paper? $22.49, which has pretty much been the regular price for at least a year; it was bucks off that price last month.
Vanilla extract? Last time I bought, at least a year ago, it was over $30 for bottle. Today, $15.99.
Perfect pumpkin? $5.99
Maybe I'm just blocking out the things that *are* going up....
So, have you noticed jumps in food prices?
