For people who will be joining by smartphone/tablet, be sure to update your Zoom app to the latest and greatest version. The “Preserve Original Sound” support has recently been extended to mobile app clients.

For folks who already have external microphones, those will typically improve over the typical computer/smartphone/tablet’s built-in microphone.
