Mrs. Mark just took a COVID-19 test and it showed a positive result. Cold like symptoms. No fever, PulseOx is 97. It was 91 initially, but I made her take 2 or 3 deep breaths and it went up to 97.
Happy to have a large house with so many bathrooms. We can stay isolated but I do have to bring her her meds, food, water, etc.
I have most definitely been exposed.

piquéSorry to hear, Mark. I started feeling punky this morning so took a home test. It came back negative, but I have talked to so many people who had minor symptoms and tested positive after testing negative at home, that I'll test again in a couple of days. 13 days ago I had some dental work done--my only possible exposure.
Where has your wife been in the past 14 days where she was in close contact with someone for at least 15 minutes? That's the standard for transmission.
Hope hers is a mild--and isolated!--case.

CindysphinxMS is recovering. Her home test was negative, PCR was positive. She got boosted in October.

dolmansaxlilSorry to hear - hopefully symptoms are mild.
Our school currently has about 30% of kids and staff out for a case so I expect I either have had it and didn’t know or will get it soon. We only test if we have symptoms (and are only eligible for rapid tests… and we were only given two…) so who knows how many asymptomatic cases I am in contact with every day now.

ShiroKuroMark, here's hoping your wife's case stays mild and resolves quickly!
My uni requires us (all faculty, staff and students) to test weekly, so there are a fair amount of asymptomatic positives right now, I can't remember the exact protocol for them, but they have to quarantine for at least 5 days.
I keep waiting for my turn, so far it hasn't come.

AdagioMHoping MrsJ’s symptoms remain mild, and that you don’t get any! That’s what the vax is for. Good luck!
