Did y'all see this: A Jazz Pianist Flips Bach Upside Down (NYTs article) He played the Goldberg Variations (on a Yamaha Disklavier) and then had the computer play them backwards. The article links to two youtube videos, the first one is neat to hear, but the second is just sooo compelling. I really want the sheet music for the upside down version! In this video, the pianist plays variation #13 (as normal) and then has the computer play it backwards.

That was my reaction to the first one I listened to, but the next one really got to me. I've listened to several more, some are just interesting but a few I feel like I really want to play them!!

Yes! Like a pianist in an ensemble during an extended rest. It’s to distracting, I had to look away. But I think I agree with RP. Though it would be funny to learn one and randomly play it for people like at a piano party. They’d be scratching their heads because it would sound familiar but not.
