And it feels like a flip but going to the history, it has been on the market many times over the years (Since 2011) without a sale apparently. Seems they may have zhushed it up this time to try again.

wtgThere was a pond behind my mom's condo. When she first moved in the water used to get funky algae in it during the summer. Eventually the association put an aerator (think fountain) in the middle of the pond. No more algae.
You do have to remove the aerator for the winter and put it back in the spring.
There were fish in the pond at my mom's, and the herons used to show up routinely for meals.

The aerator and fish seem like good options, if needed.

At long last, Dean Rd finally gets a worthy rival. That house is amazeballs. It is a bit sterile but nothing you couldn't warm up with the right furniture and maybe some new kitchen cabinet doors.
Yes, pricey, but when you consider the difference in home values between LA and Cleveland, its a bargain LOL!

That's a hell of a house, but a 1.23 acre lot, landscaped, dock, almost 6K sq ft for $1.1M? Makes me wonder what's wrong with it. Plus the exterior is stucco. While I love it in California, it's not a great choice in Ohio. Especially by the lake.

The new house is the only one that makes sense but neither one of us wants it. We could gussy it up but the neighborhood is wrong, the choices the builder offers are pretty crummy and it feels like settling.
New listings come up but none of them feel right.
Which leaves Menlo Park, and there are some tax advantages. Sharon changes her mind every day.
