Is that the part of an Ethernet cable that you have to pinch to take out?

Yes.

Then the tab gets caught on something and breaks off and the cable will go back into the jack on your laptop, but is hanging in there by friction alone and will fall out as soon as you move your computer an inch or two.

It’s a connection that was designed to be plugged in a few times in its lifetime, not several times a day. An utterly stupid choice. Okay, maybe it made a bit of sense when we had desktop computers that you might upgrade every few years. But then, they stuck with it as laptops became ubiquitous.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

OMG this.

So we bought a portable fan that can be used plugged in or on a rechargeable battery. It was billed as being super quiet. And it was. But if you use the timer, it beeps when it turns off. If it’s running in the battery, it beeps right before the battery runs out.

Curse

"I'm done" alarms that you can't turn off. Our dishwasher has one, and it's beyond annoying. First, who jumps up the second their dishwasher is finished and runs to unload it? Second, what if you want to turn it on to run overnight?

Not a fan.

James comer. That was the specific congresstwit I was trying to remember. But there are several others.

“We have an informant who knows a witness who absolutely swears he definitely heard that someone surely gave Joe Biden five million bucks in cash in small unmarked bills in a plain brown envelope in Ukraine ten years ago but I can’t tell you who it was and the FBI won’t investigate. But we’re positive it happened!”
