 Even better is the fact bitcoin mining takes truly phenomenal amounts of electricity - something in short supply in TX at the moment.

 It also requires truly phenomenal amounts of water. Last time I checked, Texas is in a significant drought period. Even if not, it's still not clear to me that Texas' water resources could begin to handle crypto's water requirements. | |||
