I don't think this is an issue for AA.
IMO, an anti-fungal is needed.
If the subject is also an alcoholic AA can
help if the subject wants help.

Actually, I was kind of joking about AA as I know something about it from a family member who is
grateful to it for over seven years of sobriety.

OTOH my experience (in ALANON) points to recovering alcoholics tending to overeat on junk food, sweets especially, so dealing with this problem would help that. (High level of smoking too. Don't know what can counter that.)
