Ageism in your 90's

Mom is 92 and had fallen and broken her hip...

She was following the news of Ukraine up to then...

But convincing docs that they should not dismiss her...?

Once they talk to her..they say ..Oh! She is a human!

It has been a rough few weeks for Mom..and us..

Mom is doing very well...I overheard some aides yesterday at the nurses station...'That lady is so alert!"..

Duh..that is what we have been trying to tell them..

Doping up the elderly is to their detriment...We stopped all meds and Mom is so much better..Tylenlol is all she needs..

She is back to discuusing the politics of Ukraine and her opinion of Putin..

Working getting her back up and walking so she can attend her grandson's wedding May 6th!

She will be 93 on May 21...We are in awe...
