I have a good friend who is otherwise a reasonable and smart person but has been sharing articles and videos promoting various conspiracy theories about Corona virus.

The notion that the virus escaped from a Wuhan lab rather than a wet market is one that has some possibility of truth.

Others are beyond the pale:

The virus was spread through flu shots and not human to human contact.

The virus was created by Bill Gates and Dr. Fuci so they could require everyone to get vaccinated AND have a microchip implanted to prove presence of antibodies.

The real purpose of social distancing is to allow satellites to distinguish between us because the signals from our microchips will merge if we are too close.

Reports of deaths are fabricated.

Yikes.
