MikhailohNot really a time for victory laps. A friend of mine just got out of the hospital with COVID. Her husband is still in ICU on a vent.
Both were vaccinated. In their late 30's.

wtgIt's hard not to feel frustrated, and even angry, with people who make decisions that put themselves and others at risk. At least that's been my reaction to some folks' attitude to the virus. That said....
We all have blind spots, and sometimes life lessons are learned the hard way. I know that's true for me.
At the end of the day, I feel sad for him and his family.

I think I've posted this here before somewhere, but I see people like the man who died as victims more than anything else. They are victims of a very concentrated attack of misinformation, fake news, and the politicization of public health.
It's super frustrating and infuriating. But with each victim who actually loses their life, it's just heartbreaking.
