Going to Princeton, should I fly to Newark or Philly?
So, I have to go to Princeton U. for a conference, any advice about which airport to fly into?

I understand I could choose Newark, Philly, LGA or JFK, but that that Newark and Philly are closest.

Between those two, is one better? Any generalized advice?

I hate traveling! I wish I could just stay home!

Newark, I’d say, without consulting a map. Philly airport is south of the city. You’ll probably have better flight options too.

From Newark Airport, you can catch a train (from the airport) directly to Princeton station. You'll need to take the airport monorail to the NJ transit station, and then make sure you take the NJ transit train, and not Amtrak.

I've found transit from Newark to be easy to manage--signage is good, and there are lots of people around. Safe.

Here's a how-to

Thanks for the tips Jon & Nina, I'll start with Newark and see what my options are.

Ax or anyone else, please chime in if you have any other advice!

Nina speaks sooth.

However, all is not lost if you happen to go to the Amtrak station. Amtrak goes to Princeton, too. (It just costs more ... I think.)

You can take any airline you like, as long as it’s United. Smiler

Be it by rail or by rental car, it will be easier to go from Newark to Princeton.
