wtgI'm going under...
I'm so sorry to hear that.
Is there any way they can give you another nerve block to get you through a few more days to allow more healing to happen?

wtgDo they have the pain management specialist seeing you? If not, I'd be insisting.
You shouldn't be in pain like this.

piquéThey have pharmacist who comes to see me. And no, the nerve block in the knee is for just one time. Surgeon was just here. He said I'm going to have pain spikes like this the next 2 weeks no matter what I do. It's just an extremely painful surgery.

I dont have an advocate, but I should ask for one. There is mr. Pique, but he hates confrontation, so he's not up for that part of the job. If I'm on a drip I can't go home, so I'd just as soon not get one.

LLOh no. How horrid. Don't go home too soon...get the strong meds at the hospital where they can monitor any bad reactions.
I think you just confirmed why I procrastinate!
