1) Fauci was on. The guy is amazing. He's 79 and working 19 hour days. And he's not skipping a beat. Thank god he's on this. 2) A doctor from the University of Nebraska talked about how they recognized early on that they needed to look at fast testing, given that they were one of the locations where people transferred from Wuhan and from the cruise ship off of Japan were going to be moved. She talked about how they got down to 4 to 6 hours of turnaround time between taking a swab and a result. Anderson Cooper pressed her about the possibility of sharing their approach, and how they cut the time. Her answer: They cut the time by setting up a lab to do the test locally. Duh. She also said that the initial setup of the lab (including calibration, etc.) takes a good bit of time. So even if the kits go to local centers it will take time to get up and running. 3) China is donating equipment and offering help to countries that are currently under seige.
