Thanks for posting this ... I was not aware of qeej before. Feels like a cross between bagpipe and 笙 (sheng). I like the qeej's light sound.

Am I correct in guessing that it can only play a pentatonic scale?


I have looked on yootoob for other qeej music and none of the videos I've watched even come close to the delightful music in the BBC story. If anyone else finds some good specimens, please let me know.
