NinaIt's somewhat infuriating that the notion of equal pay is likely to be taken more seriously, and generate more support, when advocated by a winning female sports team than by any sense of basic fairness in our society as a whole.
I'll take it, though.

But does Nike put its money where its mouth is? Do they pay their female sponsored athletes as much as their male ones? Aren't they one of the sponsors who don't step up for pregnant athletes (as per a recent NYT article)?
