"Watch what they do, not what they say."
The best things about Rachel Maddow's show are her ongoing segments on what's actually going on in the Trump administration that are under the radar, obscured by the latest outrage like the racist chants.

Like Trump's war on the Dept. of Agriculture, where top scientists are being told to make a forced move to Missouri or be fired.

Like the employees of the Bureau of Land Management being told to move to Colorado, or be fired.

Like industry lobbyists in so many important gov't positions meant to police the industries they worked for.

Like the little town in Arizona where a developer wants to do massive building and install multiple golf courses, contrary to a Federal assessment that the environment there can't support it (water issues, etc.) A Trump official has just overturned that assessment and the developer got the go-ahead.

Somehow Maddow is often the only one regularly reporting these things, even on MSNBC. They are major stories.

And this is exactly why we are hearing all the chaos in the news...a deflection from what is REALLY going on..

I watch her fairly regularly.

She has an inquisitive mind and a good staff.

Stories told that the 'news' doesn't seem to pursue.
