Wow. Perfect reason to break 'em up, regulate, and move to public funding of elections...

Political disagreement on the part of their execs is the perfect reason to break up companies?

Political statements by execs can and should have political consequences... If they want to wield power given to them by the people(regulations), there is no reason the people shouldn't be able to take that power away(change regulations).

Oh, I so do not agree with that.

You regulate companies because their businesses require regulation. You do not regulate them because you don't like the way their executives talk about you.

Please imagine how you'd feel if Donald Trump decided to try to regulate Google, Facebook, and Amazon because their executives are hostile to him. (Or don't try to imagine it, because that's what is happening right now.)

Yeah, I see your point...

This strikes me as similar to the Bernie supporters who worked so hard to give Trump the job. Yet I don't think any of the Bernie crowd threatened to vote for Trump!

First point: yes, it's similar.

Second point: they withheld their vote from Clinton, which isn't an effective switch of two votes (one more vote for Trump, one fewer vote for Clinton), but an effective switch of one vote (one fewer vote for Clinton, one vote that either wasn't cast or had zero effect).
