Columbia University Marching Band Dissolves

The marching band at was apparently “founded on the basis of racism, cultural oppression, misogyny, and sexual harassment.” This left the band no choice but to disband “unanimously and enthusiastically.”

That was my first thought; I decided to go looking to see what else might be going on.

There's a lot, as my brief trip down the internet rabbit hole uncovered in three or four articles linked from the one I posted.

Sadly, or perhaps not, I don't have any more time to catch up on the history.
