jodiWatching the vote certification via NYT subscription
It’s really interesting because the reporters have a comment feed going down the side as it is going on.

wtgI'm seeing a live feed but no commentary. It's possible that my blocking stuff is keeping me from seeing the comments.
Have you got a link to the page?

jodiIt’s really good - because you get the history about each person - and some of the comments are hilarious.

Ninaagree, the comments are great.
From Annie Karni, WH Correspondent
As Mitt Romney receives applause in the chamber, the White House sends out the president’s official schedule for Thursday:
“President Trump will work from early in the morning until late in the evening. He will make many calls and have many meetings.”06 January 2021, 09:33 PM

jodiMy other favorite is “It’s amazing that when we woke up this morning, we thought the biggest drama of the day was going to revolve around the cracks in the Trump-Pence relationship.”

jodiDid you read the comment “A person close to the president called the situation with him this afternoon a “crisis”. There is more that has to be revealed about what took place”
Wonder what that is all about.

wtgWow, remind me to count my fingers if I ever shake hands with Lindsey Graham. He did a total 180 tonight during his remarks. "“Count me out; enough is enough,” Graham says. “I’ve tried to be helpful.” I didn't want it to end this way."
Graham called the Georgia secretary of state to lean on him before Trump did.
As someone on ABC said, "he broke up with Trump on the floor of the Senate tonight"
What a total weasel.

Just saw that. Comment by Maggie Haberman. She has major connections inside the WH.
I said before that I fear for his mental stability. He's like a wild animal backed into a corner right now. It's not a good situation for the country.
