Did you feel the earthquake a couple of days ago? I slept through it but Mr wtg said he heard a rumbling sound.

The first thing I thought when I got back to Florida was the ground was solid. Hawaii has an almost unbelievable amount of earthquakes at various depths on a daily basis.

There was a small quake here in PDX not too long after we moved here, maybe 2011-2012? I was working at the kitchen table and felt it. I thought it was a big truck going down the street. Only later did I piece together that it was an earthquake.

I've probably mentioned before, but was told by a friend who worked at JPL that he and a bunch of other JPLzians (aka nerds) were out in one of those huge parking lots there when a quake hit. They all geeked out watching the quake roll through the parking lot in waves. I would've loved to have seen that.
