The part I dread most about being a Fresh Air host: The initial phone call. Always have a fear it will sink in that the parent(s) are sending their child away for a week to stay with a single man they've never met. They know it already, but somehow I think the initial contact makes it more real for them. But I just got off the phone with both mom's and they all seem pretty excited. Me too!
