Good article.

Ive noticed that I have to scroll past several pages of paid search results to anything useful. I say I’ll switch to DDG or Bing but I never do.

I left Google Search behind many years ago and have been using DuckDuckGo. I wasn't finding something recently and thought "I'll just try Google and see what it comes up with." Garbage results, which shocked me.

Good article indeed.

Personally I have set one browser to default to DuckDuckGo and leave the Brave browser default to Brave's search engine. I still find that many times, despite all the complaints I have and have read about Google search, I still come back to explicitly loading Google.com and search there because I couldn't quite get the results I was hoping for from other search engines. Shrug
