I would first find out which animal is the culprit before paying a pest control firm $50-$175 per animal. Use your camera. It would be too expensive to have a pest control firm come over to trap an animal and it turns out to be a chipmunk. If it’s a larger animal such as a raccoon or an opossum, then let them trap it.

Do you have a cat? Cats have very acute hearing.
