Stud Muffin started high school this morning. (How can this be true?)
He and his brothers have been in a tiny Cambridge-curriculum charter school, so this is his first foray into public school and his first time in a school with a student body in the thousands.
It's also his mother's first email from the school saying that they'd identified a potential threat to campus but had met with the student at their home before they or anybody got to campus.
