And here's another (two years ago, but I just learned of it. The officer is finally going to trial for murder.)

Texas is beyond anything.

These things are not unique to be sure, but the murders of these beautiful young people, one black, one brown, brought me to tears.

Such incidents sometimes push me over the edge.

It's maddening, sure, but still more, heartbreaking. (And her eight year old nephew was with her, the two of them just having fun.) A "wellness check" brought the cops to her house.
