No idea, under Florida law. However, I learned about the rule against perpetuities in a first year law school class (almost) forty years ago, and I believe it goes back to the Middle Ages.
The issue is whether that Florida entity that was created to govern the Disney land had the authority to enter into that sort of agreement. What I'm reading suggests that it did, but I'm sure that's what DeSantis will challenge.
And he'll try to find another way to punish them for thwarting him, or even attempting to thwart him. Because that's the vindictive SOB that he is.
