We accepted an offer on our house last night. Closes in May contingent on the sale of their house (which seems pretty likely) - that closes mid April. Selling for less than we purchased, but at this point selling is the most important. Having a house so far away in such a WINTER climate has been super stressful - we just need to get this done and move on. And accept the fact that I poured my heart and soul and a ****ton of our $ into that beautiful barn and property But this is good. I miss the birds there - but the goodluck white sparrow I saw at my feeder here last fall has hopefully come through with my wish.
Definitely all digits crossed! We've been in the same place, paying two mortgages, and it's so stressful. Ugh. I understand the difficulties (emotional and financial) in leaving a place that you created to be just what you wanted, and a place you thought you'd be for a long time. On the other hand, your new digs seem so beautiful, and with so much less snow!

So sorry that Maine and everything that came with it was such a huge mistake, but thank goddess you have landed on your feet in much better circumstances. Once it's sold, you never have to think about it again!
