Dish soap substitute?
Yes, dilute. It has anti-foaming agents so don't expect bubbles.

How about liquid laundry detergent? Powder would probably work too?

Here’s a hint on grocery pickup (should I even be sharing this with you?).

I filled my online cart and there were no pickup spots available in the next 3 days, and nothing scheduled after that. I happened to go online after midnight, and the following day (Day 4) had new spots lifted. I’m picking up my groceries on Wednesday (picked them on Saturday).

Good luck!

Janitorial and restaurant supply companies sell dish soap.

I have no idea where that kind of supply store would be.

But it’s not availability, it’s that I don’t want Mr. SK to go out!

I think I've lost the battle though. He wants to get food as well and says that there will surely be times when we can’t get food, so we should go now when we can.

Where’s pique, maybe she can tell me how she’s keeping mr. pique at home!

Better a little wholesale place than a big box with (shudder) carts and crowds.

I googled your town. There are several places.

In earlier days I wanted a milder soap for dishes than dishwashing liquid. So I used a plain brown soap that came in big bars in some supermarkets. Don't even remember the name. Fels Naphtha perhaps.

You know, you could use baking soda too. Slightly abrasive, in a good way. Make a paste out of it with a bit of water.

You know who probably has dish soap?

Circle K and 7-11.

Steve what search terms did you use?

In other news, Mr. SK informed me just now that he’s almost out of his medicine! This man! He is bound and determined to go out! ROTFLMAO

P.S. good call on the Circle K etc.

Mr. SK, showing me today’s weather forecast, “it’s going to be pouring rain in the afternoon. No one else will be out shopping.”

We could be one of those news articles, headline “couple clashes over interpretation of ‘stay home’ guidelines”

ROTFLMAO

Ok, we went to the store -- AKA Mr. SK wins this round. AKA the SKs stay married! Yes

We stocked up on dish soap, napkins (no paper towels), TP (they only had the generic kind), tissues, milk, powdered coffee creamer, eggs, cereals... what else?? A bunch of things. Plus Mr. SK's prescription medicine.

Anyway, I told Mr. SK we are *not* going out again for the next two weeks at least.

He agreed.

We'll see how long that lasts.
