Yes, L'shanah Tovah to all who are celebrating the new year.

We had 10 people to dinner tonight and a good time was had by all. My wife made a new bread recipe with apples in it and my daughter brought an apple cake made from a recipe in the Costco magazine. Both were excellent. We had pea soup for an appetizer, a leg of lamb, roasted potato wedges and asparagus along with some delicious red wine.

Cooking was a bit adventurous because our oven is currently kaput. The bread was baked in the air fryer and the potatoes roasted there as well. My daughter baked the cake at her home and roasted the leg of lamb on her Traeger grill. Even though some of the cooking procedures were an experiment, the results were all great.

Tomorrow night we'll be dining at the home of one of my wife's sisters and her husband so I'll continue to be well fed this weekend.
