In today's world, we often get bombarded with advice on how to live our lives. It can be overwhelming to sift through the noise and determine which direction is valuable and applicable to us. However, Sahil Bloom, a writer and investor, took a unique approach to discover life lessons that work. He went straight to the source and asked elderly individuals for their advice on how to live a fulfilling life.

I read a little book like that a long time ago. The three things I remember are:

1. Over-tip breakfast waitresses.

2. Buy whatever any kid schleps up to your porch.

3. Never buy a house on a street with a line down the middle of it.
