Varsity recruits proposed by coaches will now undergo a separate background check by a Stanford Athletics executive. Previously, only the recommending coach was responsible for reviewing such credentials. Stanford confirmed the pre-admittance athletic biography of all recruits since 2011 after learning of the bribery scheme.
Additionally, the University plans to conduct a “comprehensive external review” of procedures surrounding athletic recruitment and financial contributions to athletic programs.

You asked what the chances were that anyone would be expelled.
Yale and Stanford have answered that question.
And you said precious little would come of it.
The prosecutors are recommending jail time for every guilty plea ... I think the article said a minimum of six months.
I'm thinking that it might be time for you to reconsider.

Danbury Minimum Security isn't hard time, I suppose, but it does look as if jail time is being recommended for all of them.
We'll see what the sentence is.

High, I think. That kind of fraud gives the school license to act, and the politics of inaction are likely really bad.
Yeah, I think I was right.

CindysphinxCalm down, Quirt. A recommendation for jail time is just a recommendation.
Nobody has spent a day in jail. It’s a little early for “I told you so.”

Calm down? Why do you assume (wrongly) that I am not calm? I didn't even say you were wrong. I just pointed out that jail time was recommended. I even noted that no one has been sentenced yet.
Perhaps you're just feeling hyperbolic and you're projecting? Do you typically get angry when people remind you of potentially inaccurate predictions that you have made? You might want to spend some time thinking about why you react like that, it's probably not good for your blood pressure.

OK, now that reaction is funny.
CALM DOWN? *YOU CALM DOWN!!* HOW DARE YOU ASSUME I AM NOT CALM!

QuirtEvansYeah, I was expecting you to twist it that way. But I'm calm, thanks.
You should really think about why you go so nuclear every time someone reminds you of a potentially bad prediction. Are you that scared of not being infallible?

NinaIt's unclear whether students at any other schools than Stanford have been expelled. If they have, the schools seem to be keeping mum about it.
