"I've got morons on my team." Mitt Romney Minor Deity |
Tim Walz I'm listening more to him. I thought him unlikely because a) he's from a safely blue state, and b) he is seen as "progressive." But if the Democrats don't see great importance in being strategic with the VP candidate's state of residence, Walz just seems to have a message and style that resonates. Don't surrender to the GOP's negative framing. Speak about values. And keep on pounding the idea that Trump and Vance are just plain "weird." Note also that former Republicans (and current GOP haters) like Galen see the potential in this message.

Pick Walz, and Put Kelly and Shapiro to Work! A darn good argument. The VP is an attack bulldog and a messenger to the base. Walz seems to have that market cornered. Kelly and Shapiro need to work their states without the baggage of being the VP pick.
