Shut up and play your guitar! Minor Deity |
Our 4 day stay at the hospital, where very little actually took place, has so far been billed out to the insurance company at over $50,000. I expect more bills to arrive shortly. I had no idea MRI scans cost so much. Why? The technology is 30+ years old now. It should have dropped in cost a long time ago. That's criminal. | |||

What I can’t understand is how rural hospitals, particularly rural hospitals in the South, can’t stay in business despite charging some $10K per hour for the simplest treatments. Here in the OC they can’t build huge new hospitals fast enough. It’s a mystery.
