DougCovid-era Costs
I was at Costco today, so I went ahead and filled up my gas tank. Spent 20 bucks on gas.
It was just this last June that I spent nearly that same amount. This should last me just about the rest of the year at the current rate, but, it Still projects to around an $80 a year expenditure.
I would have to go back and check my financial records, but I think a few years ago when I was living in Los Angeles, and doing a 2-3 hour a day round-trip commute, my cost might have run a bit higher...

On a related note....we have a four and a half year old car with about 9000 miles on it.....our low transportation costs pre-date COVID by several years....
