NinaBy Jove, I think she’s got it!
I'm so sorry you guys are dealing with this. It sounds like it will be a (relatively and hopefully) mild case for both of you.

CHASGot the high dose flu shot for seniors today, followed by the RSV vaccine.
Fatigue has set in. Don't want to get out of a chair. Ok otherwise

pianojugglerWell, a couple years ago, a “mild” case was any that didn’t put you in the hospital. So I guess we’re mild.
Mrs pj got it a lot worse than I did. She still sick, fever and chills, lost sense of smell, altered sense of taste, and so on.
I still have temp up at night, normal in the morning. Some coughing. Tired.
I got Paxlovid and I’m getting all of the side effects of it.
So, another day of resting, staying hydrated, and not much else.

QuirtEvansI hope you and the Mrs. feel better soon, pj.
I had COVID last Christmas, no fun.
I got the new vaccine yesterday. Also no fun, but it’s one day of discomfort. I’ll be better tomorrow.

pianojugglerWell, I worked a few hours each day this week. Monday I was in a real fog all day. Just partly foggy the rest of the week. I tested negative on Tuesday and went out for groceries and stuff.
DD came down with it again last Sunday night. She had a case a year ago. So, I ended up getting groceries and stuff for her, too.
Mrs pj has been feeling like carp all week. Wednesday, she tested positive still. Last night (or this morning, I don't remember) she was finally negative.
But we're both still pretty wiped out and foggy. I had to get online and pay some bills and stuff, but I plan to go back to the couch shortly.
Ooh... I just got a text from DD. I may run over there with a few boxes of kleenex and some butter chicken.
